Art Niemann is a preeminent teacher in the field of Human Resources Management and is renowned as an inspirational speaker. His insights into attitude, behavior and communications have proven to be extremely helpful to business and personal development.
He began his business career with Mr. W. Clement Stone at Combined Insurance Company in Chicago, Illinois. As Mr. Stone's assistant he was instrumental in Combined's phenomenal growth through the use of the AVA Behavioral Assessment Program and human resource development activities.
Art formed his own company in 1980 to bring his ideas and products to organizations all across North America. His behavioral assessment service helps hundreds of companies identify, hire, and retain top quality personnel.
Art attended Concordia Teachers College and did his graduate work at Northwestern University. He and his wife Marlene have six wonderful children. Art Niemann is dedicated to helping individuals understand and apply basic success principles that will help them achieve their fullest potential.
Arthur M. Niemann
Art M. Niemann is a human resource management professional with over 20 years experience.
While pursuing a professional baseball career with the Chicago White Sox, Art utilized the off seasons to begin a career in human resources management. During this time he conducted sales recruitment programs for companies and became involved in administration of the AVA Behavioral Assessment Program. After baseball, Art returned to college to complete his degree with a major in psychology and a minor in personnel management.
In 1984 Art joined the company full time and helped the firm achieve outstanding growth. Art focused on developing the company's AVA Behavioral Assessment service and greatly enhanced the effectiveness of the program.
Art currently conducts
management seminars for companies and organizations throughout the US and
Canada. He trains managers in the recruitment, selection and retention of
top quality employees. Topics of Art's seminars include recruitment, interviewing
techniques, behavioral assessment concepts, coaching strategies, employee
motivation and employee retention.
Bradley M. Lortsher
In August of 1996, Brad Lortsher joined Art Niemann & Company and was trained by Art Niemann, Sr. as an AVA Certified Analyst. Before joining the company, Brad served as a full time missionary for 2 years in Jacksonville, Florida.
He then worked for O.C. Tanner Company in Salt Lake City, maker of the 2002 Winter Olympic medals, while attending the University of Utah full time. Brad completed his B.S. degree in business management and human resources. Brad is actively involved with his community and church and he enjoys volunteering his time.
In the course of his university studies, Brad realized that people are the most important asset and resource that organizations possess. This was one of the factors that influenced Brad's decision to become a member of our company. Working closely with Art M. Niemann and Mike Barry, Brad has developed outstanding AVA interpretation skills and knowledge. Brad imparts his thorough knowledge of AVA application and human resources management with each report he processes for our clients. Brad engages in a variety of client services including AVA assessments, sales work and seminar presentations.
Jeffrey P. Platt
Jeff began his career in Human Resources in 1999 working for TEKsystems, a company specializing in recruiting and placing IT professionals. For three years Jeff worked closely with client executives helping them interview and select the best candidates. Jeff's strong interest in helping companies hire the best possible employees led him to begin a new career with Art Niemann & Co. in April of 2002.
Jeff attended the University of Utah and graduated with a BS degree in Business Marketing in the summer of 2001. His interest in Human Resources Management along with his education and previous experience has helped Jeff to become a passionate student of the AVA Behavioral Assessment program.
Jeff is an athletic sports
enthusiast who lives with his wife Brydie in Sandy Utah where they enjoy riding
their horses and spending time with family.
